Troubleshooting a Bosch Dishwasher Cycle

An interrupted cleaning cycle or dirty dishes after the cleaning cycle completes in your Bosch dishwasher cycle is often due to improperly closing the appliance's door, or incorrect wash settings for the cleaning cycle. The Bosch dishwasher uses no more than 3 tablespoons of detergent to effectively wash a load of dishes, and can leave residue on the dishes if overfilled. If the dishwashing cycle continues to stop or leave your dishes dirty, contact the Bosch customer support line to schedule professional repair.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the dishwasher's door slightly and push "Cancel" and "Reset" for three seconds to pause the cycle. Slide the detergent cover all the way to the left and push it down until it clicks into place to ensure it is properly closed.

    • 2

Lift open the Rinse Aid tab and fill the liquid compartment to the top of the fill line. Push the tab down to close the Rinse Aid compartment, and turn the dial to between "3" and "4" for clean dishes without streaks or spots.

    • 3

Close the dishwasher's door and wait for the current cycle to drain out the water. Push "On/Off" to restart the wash cycle, or push the type of cleaning cycle on the door's control panel to begin a new cycle. The cycles include "Heavy," "Auto," "Delicate," "Normal," "Express" and "Rinse."

    • 4

Push "Sanitize" after the wash cycle is complete to thoroughly dry wet dishes. Wait for "Sanitize" to turn off before opening the dishwasher's door.

    • 5

Press "On/Off" to turn off the dishwasher after the drying cycle is finished, but the dishwasher remains powered on.
