How to Find the Filter on My Maytag Jetclean Dishwasher

The Maytag Jetclean dishwasher is designed for reliability and ease of use; but as with any appliance, you must maintain your Maytag Jetclean to keep it that way. Part of that regular maintenance is changing the filter on a regular basis. But before you can change out the filter, you need to pinpoint its location inside the dishwasher. Once you locate the filter cartridge, you're all set to change it.

     Remove the racks from your Maytag Jetclean dishwasher and set them aside. Locate the manifold that extends along the top and back of the dishwasher. Press on the clips at the back of the manifold then pull the top part out to dislodge it.

     Loosen the pivot and wash arm hub. Remove the spray arm.

   • 3

     Look under the spray arm and locate the filter guard. Use a Torx head screwdriver to remove the three screws that secure the guard to the Jetclean dishwasher to access the filter.
