How to Change the Glass Door Assembly for a Whirlpool RBS305PRS00

Turn off the electrical power from your Whirlpool oven by turning it off on your kitchen circuit breaker.

Open the oven door all the way and then insert pins into the holes on both door hinges.

Close the door as far as the pins will allow and then grasp the sides of the door. Lift up the door to fully remove it from the hinges.

Set the oven door down with the front facing down. Remove the two screws from the top door liner using a screwdriver.

Remove the two screws from the brackets holding the glass in. Lift the liner assembly off the door.

Remove the three outer glass holder screws and two bracket screws from the liner assembly. Lift up and remove the outer glass.

Remove the bottom bracket on the door and slide the center door glass out from the door.

Remove the door hinge screws on the sides of the door and then remove the hinges. Lift up and remove inner glass door cover.

Slide out the inner door glass and then all of the glass will be removed from the oven door.

Slide the new inner glass into the oven door and place the glass cover over the door. Add the hinges back onto the door and reinsert the screws.

Insert the new center glass into the center and place the bottom bracket back on. Place the outer glass into the liner. Place the liner assembly back on and reinsert all screws.

Place the door back onto the hinges and lower the door. Remove the two pins from the hinges and then close the door. Turn the power supply back on from the circuit breaker.
