How to Replace a Broken Door Latch on a Frigidaire Dishwasher

The door latch on a Frigidaire dishwasher is located on the top of the door and allows the dishwasher system to be able to tell when the door is shut completely. For example, you cannot run your dishwasher if the door is open, and if the door latch is broken then you must replace it with a new part. To remove the door latch you must access the inside of the dishwasher door once the front panel is removed.
