Remove the aerator, screen and rubber washer from the bottom of your faucet. To remove the components, twist the aerator counterclockwise, and then thread the piece off the faucet.
Insert the screens and thin washer into the top of the faucet adapter. Both the screen and thin washer are included with the dishwasher.
Insert the thick washer that was also included with the dishwasher on top of the thin washer, if the threading on the bottom of your sink is located on the inside of the faucet. Do not use the thick washer it the threading on your sink is located on the outside of your faucet.
Thread the faucet adapter onto the threading on the faucet until tight.
Turn on the faucet to the hottest setting, and allow it to run until the water is hot. Turn off the water once it is hot.
Press downward on the thumb release, on the top of the dishwasher connector, on the end of the dishwasher's inlet and drain hose assembly.
Insert the faucet adapter on the bottom of the faucet into the top of the dishwasher connector on the end of the dishwasher's inlet and drain hose assembly.
Release the thumb release to secure the dishwasher connector onto the faucet adapter. Tug slightly on the dishwasher connector to ensure that the component is securely connected to the faucet adapter.
Turn on the hot water to full force.
