How to Reboot Your Bosch Dishwasher

Under normal circumstances, you should not have to reboot your Bosch dishwasher. You should be able simply to load the unit, set the wash cycle and wait for your dishes to be cleaned. But if the dishwasher becomes stuck or unresponsive, you may need to reboot the unit to get it back to its normal operation. After the Bosch dishwasher has been rebooted, you can then restart it to get your dishes clean.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the door of the Bosch dishwasher to expose the controls. If the door will not open, the child look is probably activated. Press the arrow keys on the control panel until the "CL" disappears, then open the door.

    • 2

Locate the "Cancel Drain" button on the top of the Bosch dishwasher. Hold the button down for three seconds, then release it. You should hear the water begin to drain out of the dishwasher after holding the button down for three seconds. If not, continue to hold the button down until you hear the water start to drain. Do not reboot the dishwasher until you no longer hear the water draining.
