Open the dishwasher door and pull the end of the gasket away from the gasket channel. If necessary, us a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry the gasket out of the channel.
Grasp the gasket and pull firmly to remove it from the door. Discard the old gasket.
Place the new gasket in a bucket full of warm water. Allow the gasket to remain in the water for several minutes to soften the rubber, which makes it more pliable.
Remove the gasket from the water, and then locate the center of the gasket, which is marked with a red dot.
Align the center of the gasket with the door latch at the top of the dishwasher. Push the gasket firmly into the gasket channel.
Push the entire gasket into the gasket channel, until it is fully inserted.
Close and latch the dishwasher door. Avoid opening the door for several hours to allow the gasket to mold to the shape of the gasket channel, which ensures a watertight seal.
