Turn off the electrical power to the dishwasher at your kitchen circuit breaker. If you're unsure whether the power is off, turn it off at the home's main breaker box.
Remove the two screws from the bottom toe panel, using the screwdriver. Grasp the bottom of the toe panel and lift it up to remove it from the dishwasher.
Locate the side of the motor pump that has a hose connected to it. Press in the tab on the wire harness connector to disconnect it from the middle terminal below the pump.
Press on the tab for the wire harness connector to disconnect it from the soil sensor directly at the top of the pump. At the same time press the tab on the wire harness connector located at the bottom of the pump to disconnect it from the thermistor.
Press down on the metal tab on the motor pump above the drain hose to remove the hose from the motor. Pull the hose out of the pump using your hands.
Remove the bolt on the motor pump, located on the bottom mounting plate below where the pump hose was connected, using an adjustable wrench. Slightly turn the motor to dislodge it.
Pull the motor pump straight back from the motor assembly and lift it completely out of the dishwasher.
