How to Replace the Keypad on a Whirlpool DU1055XTPQ3 Dishwasher

The Whirlpool DU1055XTPQ3 is a dishwasher that is no longer in production as of 2011. The appliance has four wash cycles, as well as the option to sanitize your dishes using high water temperatures. The cycles are selected using a touch pad on the control panel, which is located on the top front of the dishwasher door. After regular use, the control panel buttons may fail, requiring you to remove and replace the control panel. Although the DU1055XTPQ3 has been discontinued, replacement parts are still available from many parts retailers, allowing you to purchase a replacement control panel for the appliance. Once purchased, installing it is a matter of swapping out the components.
