The hot water line for your dishwasher runs through the side of the cabinet over to the dishwasher location. You need to prepare a hole in the cabinet. Fit a drill with a 2-inch drill bit and make a hole 3 inches up from the floor and 2 inches back from the wall. Uncoil your copper tubing and feed it through the hole in the cabinet and make sure it reaches from the water supply to the dishwasher location.
The hot water supply line needs to be modified to fit the water supply line for the dishwasher. A t-fitting should be placed over the end of your water supply. A shutoff valve for the sink above the water supply is soldered into the top of the t-fitting. Fit a shut off valve for the dishwasher on the bottom and solder it in.
The copper hot water supply line needs to be bent to fit over the end of the dishwasher shutoff valve. Insert a tub bending spring into the end of the line to make it big enough to fit over the shutoff valve. Slide a compression nut and a ferrule into the end of the copper pipe and attach it to the shutoff valve.
Align the copper hot water supply line on the floor so that it fits underneath the dishwasher. Again, the end of the copper piping needs to be bent with a spring to fit a compression nut and ferrule. The water inlet valve for the dishwasher sits on the back of the unit. The compression nut will fit over the inlet. Tighten the compression nut using a wrench to finish the hot water connection to your dishwasher.
