Removing a GE Profile Sump Filter

When you run your General Electric Profile dishwasher, all pieces of food and other debris are caught in the sump filter screen below the lower spray arm in the bottom center of the appliance. If the sump filter becomes clogged, flooding can occur within your dishwasher, and you should remove the part to clean it. You can manually remove the sump filter at any time if you need to inspect it for any damage.
