How to Remove a Frigidaire Heating Coil

A metal heating element located at the bottom of the washtub heats the water in your Frigidaire dishwasher. The heating element is secured to the dishwasher through the tub’s underside and is held in place using metal clips. If the heating element fails, remove it from the dishwasher before installing a new heating element. Before disassembling your Frigidaire dishwasher, disconnect the appliance's power source.
