How to Clean a Black Cast-Aluminum Dishwasher

Dishwashers provide a convenient way to clean your dishes, utensils, pans and other kitchenware in one fell swoop. Just like your dishware, the appliance itself must be periodically cleaned to ensure efficiency. Food debris can get trapped in the dishwasher, hard water stains can build up, and other factors can necessitate a cleaning of the unit. A dirty dishwasher can leave unwanted residue or debris on the items you are attempting to clean, defeating its purpose. Cleaning a black cast-aluminum dishwasher is fairly simple, and should be performed once every week or two.
