How to Repair a Door Latch on My Maytag MDB7600AWW

The Maytag MDB7600AWW is a built-in dishwasher, designed for use in a residential kitchen. The control panel of the dishwasher is located on the top of the front of the dishwasher door, and has a door latch that securely shuts the dishwasher. The latch houses the door handle and door latch switches, which detect if the door is in the open or closed position. The latch is made of plastic, and after regular use, may begin to crack or break completely, making it difficult to open and close your dishwasher. To restore functionality to the dishwasher, replace the latch.
