How to Remove a Bosch Panel From Dishwasher Model SHE44C02

The Bosch SHE44C02 dishwasher is a built-in model that is installed permanently under your kitchen counters. Unlike many models of Bosch dishwashers, the SHE44C02 has a control panel on the outside of the front of the door. The control panel contains the dishwasher's control module, as well as the user input interface and door latch assembly. To repair or replace any of these components, you must first remove the control panel, which is secured using several screws.

Instructions

    • 1

Disconnect the dishwasher's power supply before beginning the repair. Dishwashers are typically hardwired to your home's electrical system. To disconnect the power supply, turn off the dishwasher breaker in your home's service panel.

    • 2

Open the dishwasher door and then remove the six screws from the top of the inner door panel, securing the control panel to the door.

    • 3

Close the dishwasher door, but do not latch it.

    • 4

Rotate the control panel down, away from the dishwasher door.

    • 5

Take a picture of the control panel to reference during the reinstallation of the wire connectors.

    • 6

Remove the wire connectors from the control panel. To remove each wire connector, depress the tab on the connector and pull the connector off of the terminal.

    • 7

Move the control panel away from the dishwasher for repairs.
