How to Install a Danby Portable Dishwasher

Founded in 1947, Danby is a manufacturer of small electrical appliances, including air conditioners, refrigerators and dishwashers. Danby manufactures portable dishwashers that allow apartment dwellers and others with small or older kitchens to add a dishwasher without the cost of a major remodeling. The portable dishwashers sit on wheels, allowing the appliance to be rolled out of the way when not in use. Installing and using the dishwasher is simple.

  Screw the included Danby faucet adapter onto your kitchen sink faucet.

  Roll the Danby portable dishwasher near the kitchen sink, if it’s not already. Pull the hose out from the back of the dishwasher and connect it to faucet adapter. To connect the hose, push down on the connector and snap the hose on to the adapter.

  Plug the Danby portable dishwasher into an electrical outlet.

  Turn on the hot water on your kitchen sink faucet.

  Load the dishwasher with your dishes. Fill the detergent cup with appropriate dishwasher detergent. Shut the dishwasher door so that it clicks and locks into place. Select the desired cycle to begin cleaning your dishes with the Danby portable dishwasher.
