How to Remove a KitchenAid Dishwasher Vent

The vent connected to the door of a KitchenAid dishwasher is beneficial for removing steam that is created during a cleaning cycle. If you note that too little or too much steam is coming from the vent, you should manually remove the part to determine whether it is broken. If the dishwasher vent is broken, you can purchase a new one from the KitchenAid manufacturer or an online retailer.
