How to Install a Kenmore Dishwasher Drain Pump

The Kenmore dishwasher is a brand that Sears sells, and Whirlpool manufactures it. Repairing the dishwasher drain pump is the same for models that are similar between the two brands. Replacing the drain pump is the same for most dishwashers. The dishwasher works via an electronic valve that opens and allows the water to flow in by gravity. Replacing the pump is not difficult. However, it does require moving the unit from under the counter to access the pump.
