Instructions

    • 1

Measure and cut 3 squares of fabric measuring 8 by 8 inches. Choose fabric styles that accent the type of outfit with which they will be worn.

    • 2

Select a simple floral stencil of choice and outline it on the center of each fabric sheet with a marker. Ideal floral stencils for beginners at this task include daisies, sunflowers and flowers of similar petaled design. The stencil must be about 4 by 4 inches.

    • 3

Cut the flower-shaped outline from the pieces of fabric.

    • 4

Squeeze a dot of fabric glue on the center of both sides of one of the cutout flowers. Sandwich it between the other two cutout flowers and press them together for about a minute. This creates a three-tiered ruffled floral piece.

    • 5

Squeeze a dot of fabric glue on the center of one side of the floral piece and adhere a brooch finding to it. Let it dry for 15 minutes.
