Check the water shut-off valve near the base of the rear of the Frigidaire refrigerator. Move the fridge away from the wall so you can access the back, then find the valve, which bears a distinctive handle. Turn the handle counterclockwise to ensure the valve is completely open, allowing a full water flow to the refrigerator and its ice maker.
Ensure there's no obstruction in your ice bin due to large chunks of ice that have formed due to thawing and refreezing. These ice chunks can alter the positioning of the sensor arm, resulting in a halt to ice production that may leave the Frigidaire ice maker's bin only partially full. Remove the abnormal ice chunks from the bin to rectify the issue.
Ensure the sensor arm within the ice maker hasn't become stuck in an improper position. This arm shouldn't be elevated into its "up" position, otherwise ice production will immediately stop, leaving a partially full ice bin that will eventually empty as you continue using more ice. Move the sensor arm back into its lowered position by pushing down on the arm gently with your hand.
Ensure the electrical harness for the Frigidaire's ice maker hasn't become disconnected. When the harness between the ice maker and the freezer compartment becomes disconnected, the ice maker will fail and ice will not be added to the bin. The electrical harness for the ice maker is located at its rear, while the refrigerator's harness can be found at the back of the freezer compartment, within which the ice maker is housed. Each harness has a tab or clasp. Push each clasp into the other to reconnect the harnesses.
