How to Replace a Whirlpool Gas Stovetop Ignitor

Whirlpool gas ranges are manufactured in a wide range of models with varying sets of features. Each model is equipped with an ignitor that creates a flame from the gas supply. Unlike a pilot light, the ignitor comes on only when the stove is turned on. A defective or broken ignitor prevents the stovetop from functioning properly. Replace the faulty ignitor to repair your Whirlpool gas stove.
