How to Put the GE WCVH6800 Into Test Mode

The GE WCVH6800 is a front-loading automatic washing machine designed for residential use. The computer inside the washing machine keeps track of error codes that are detected as the washing machine is in use. The most recent error codes are stored in the computer's memory and you can access them through the machine's Test Mode.

     Press the "Power" button to stop a running wash cycle. Close the washer door.

     Disconnect the WCVH6800 power cord from the electrical outlet, wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.

     Press the "Signal" button. Press "Delay Start." Press "Signal." Press "Delay Start." The display shows "t01" to indicate that the GE washer has entered Test Mode. Repeat the process to exit Test Mode when you are done.
