How to Take Apart a GE NVL333EB1CC

The GE NVL333EB1CC is a front-loading automatic electric dryer in the Hotpoint appliance line. Many of the internal components cannot be accessed without taking the dryer cabinet apart. The drum, belt, heating element and other internal parts may need to be inspected or replaced if the dryer is not working properly.

Instructions

      Unplug the dryer power cord. Open the door.

      Remove the screws on the underside of the GE dryer top panel from inside the door.

      Lift the top panel up and rest it on its rear hinges.

      Remove the two screws located near the top of the front panel. Disconnect the door switch wire connector from its socket.

      Slide the front panel off of the dryer cabinet.

      Remove the screws holding the side panels to the NVL333EZB1CC dryer frame. Lift the side panels off.

      Slide the belt off of the pulleys. Lift the drum out through the front opening.
