Unplug the oven's electrical cord or turn off the circuit breaker that supplies power to the stove.
Find the back of the burner coil where it plugs into the stove's receptacle. Lift the opposite side of the burner coil and pull it toward you. The coil's plug will disengage from the receptacle and it can be completely removed.
Apply dielectric grease to the receptacle and the new coil's plug using a cotton swab. The grease will help reduce corrosion by keeping moisture away from the connection, thereby helping the plug last longer.
Hold the new burner coil on the opposite end from the plug and insert the plug into the stove's receptacle. Ensure that the plug is completely inserted and lower the burner so it sits evenly on the stove-top. Restore electrical service to the stove.
