The Scotsman DCE 33A is a residential icemaker that allows people to make a large amount of ice in their homes. These ice machines are commonly sought after because they are energy efficient and have a drain pump installed. If you have recently bought a DCE 33A, there are a few things that you need to do before you install the unit in your home. You don’t have to call a professional installer to install the ice machine in your home. You can do it yourself with little hassle.

     Connect the power cable to the outlet in your home. Connect the water cable to the water inlet port on the back of your DCE 33A.

     Press the “On/Off” switch to turn on your ice maker. Wait for the “Ice Making” LED light to turn on. The water will start to pump through the system.

     Wait 10 hours for the first batch of ice to complete. Dispose of the first batch of ice. This batch will have dust particles in it so it will not be ready for consumption.

     Make your second batch of ice and wait 10 hours for it to complete.
