Place the icemaker on a level surface. If the icemaker is not on a level surface, the water will overflow from the unit’s evaporator plate and onto the cutting grid. This can slowdown or stop the icemaker.
Make sure that you have the control knob in the “On” position. If the control knob is not in the “On” position, the icemaker will make ice.
Adjust the unit’s drain cap on the back of the unit if the icemaker is leaking. This will prevent leakage from the unit onto your floor.
Check the icemaker’s drain pump hose. This is located on the back of the unit under the drain pan.
Turn the icemaker off and then disconnect the drain pan pump’s tube from the drain pan on the back of your unit. Look through the tube to make sure there is no debris blocking the tube.
Clean the inside of the icemaker if you are getting debris in your ice or the ice smells funny.
