How to Change the Door Switch for a Whirlpool LEQ9858PW0 Dryer

The Whirlpool LEQ9858PW0 is a 29-inch front-loading automatic electric dryer designed for residential use. The door switch turns on the interior light when the door is opened and signals to the main computer when the door is closed so a cycle can be started. A faulty door switch can prevent the dryer from operating properly. Change the door switch with a new part to keep the Whirlpool dryer working correctly.
