Removing the Front of a Frigidaire GLEQ942CSO

The Frigidaire GLEQ942CSO is a front-loading automatic dryer equipped with multiple dry cycle options. This model is part of the Frigidaire Gallery series line of appliances. If internal components such as the drum, belt, motor or heating element need to be tested or replaced, you first must open the cabinet. The front panel can be removed to access internal components and replaced after the needed repair or troubleshooting steps have been performed.

      Disconnect the power cord before servicing the Frigidaire dryer.

      Open the dryer door. Remove the screws securing the front panel from inside the drum.

      Pull the front panel forward to expose the electrical connector leading to the front panel. Unplug the connector from its socket.

    • 4

      Lift the front panel away from the GLEQ942CSO and up to remove it from the dryer cabinet.
