How to Change the Heater Coil in a GE Dryer DBSR453

The GE DBSR453 is a free-standing front-loading dryer that comes in gas and electric models. The heater coil raises the temperature inside the dryer drum as it is running. The combination of the high heat and the tumbling action of the drum dries wet laundry quickly and efficiently. If your GE dryer is running without heat, the heater coil may need to be replaced.
