The Removal of the Idler Pulley on a Maytag MDE2600AYW

The Maytag MDE2600AYW is a front-loading automatic dryer designed for home use. The belt connected to the drum relies on the idler pulley to maintain proper tension. For some repair procedures, removing the idler pulley in order to access other components is necessary. If the idler pulley is damaged or broken, you must remove it and place it with a new part. To do this, you need to open the dryer cabinet to gain access to the idler pulley.
