How to Change the Belt on a Maytag Neptune Washing Machine

Maytag Neptune automatic washing machines are equipped with a motor drive system that consists of a motor, a drive belt and other components. The drive belt connects with the motor pulley and the drive pulley. As the motor powers the motor pulley, the drive belt causes the drive pulley to rotate so the tub and agitator can move inside the cabinet. A broken belt prevents the tub and agitator from working properly. Change the belt with a new one to restore your Maytag Neptune washer to proper working order.
