How to Degrease an Old Singer Sewing Machine

Old Singer sewing machines use oil to keep the gears working properly while bringing the needle up and down. If you haven’t used the sewing machine in a while, the oil can get greasy and might not work properly. This is basic maintenance that your need to do over time. You don’t have to be a Singer technician to get the grease off of your machine. You can do it yourself with little hassle and minimal knowledge of the unit.
