How to Replace the Belt of a GE Front-Load Dryer

GE front-loading automatic dryers are manufactured in both gas and electric models. The models range in capacity, available drying cycles and cabinet design. The belt performs the same function for each model, regardless of other design elements. The motor connects to a set of pulleys that control the belt. The other end of the belt wraps tightly around the drum to pull it around when the dryer is running. Replace the belt when it breaks to ensure that your GE dryer operates properly.
