Unplug the refrigerator while working on the unit.
Open the door that requires the replacement seal. Because this is a dual refrigerator-freezer unit, it has two doors and two door seals.
Look at the door seal. Lift the edge of it up. Underneath the seal you will find hex-head retaining screws holding the seal in place.
Remove each of the hex-head screws, using the appropriately-sized hex-head nut driver. Set the screws aside.
Pull the door seal from the refrigerator after removing the hex-head retaining screws.
Clean the area around the door seal with soapy water. Rinse and dry before proceeding.
Hold the new door seal in place and insert the hex-head retaining screws through each of the holes in the gasket. Using your fingers, thread them manually into the refrigerator door to get them started.
Take the hex-head nut driver and tighten each of the inserted retaining screws until snug. Do not over-tighten.
Rearrange the gasket so it is smooth. Close the door to test its operation.
Repeat this process for the second door. Plug the refrigerator back in when you are done.
