How to Replace the Thermal Fuse on a GE Electric Dryer

The thermal fuse inside a GE electric dryer is a safety device that can shut off the dryer if it is producing too much heat. This prevents a possible fire due to high heat. If the thermal fuse is blown or broken, it must be replaced with a new part in order for the dryer to operate.
