How to Remove the Front Panel From a Samsung Washer

Samsung automatic washing machines come in a wide range of models, each with a distinct set of features and available wash cycle options. When you need to replace major internal components of any Samsung washer, you will first have to remove part of the washer cabinet. Removing the front panel will allow you to inspect, repair or replace some of the major parts of the machine, such as the pulley system and drive belt.

  • Plastic putty knife
  • Phillips screwdriver

Instructions

      Unplug the Samsung washer from the electrical outlet. Turn off the water faucets connected to the washer inlet hoses.

      Insert the putty knife between the top cover and front panel. Press the knife into the locking clips located 3 inches from each front corner.

      Lift the top cover up and back to rest on the rear hinge stop.

    • 4

      Remove the two screws connected to the top of the front panel.

      Lift the front panel straight up to remove it from the Samsung washer.
