How to Replace the Rear Bearing on a Whirlpool Duet Washer

Whirlpool Duet front-load automatic washing machines are equipped with a rear bearing that supports the wash tub as it is rotating. If the bearing fails, the washer can experience problems, including a wash tub that does not spin. One potential sign of a bad rear bearing is a high-pitched squealing noise when the tub is spinning. Replace a broken or defective bearing to restore your Whirlpool Duet washing machine to proper working condition.
