How to Replace the Thermocouple on a Maytag Electric Performa Dryer

Maytag Performa automatic electric dryers are equipped with a thermocouple inside the cabinet that produces heat when the dryer is running. This component is more commonly referred to as a heating element. When the heating element stops functioning correctly, the dryer may run but will not produce heat. Replace the thermocouple to restore your Maytag Performa dryer to its proper working condition.
