DIY Replacing a GE Igniter PGS908SEM2SS

The GE PGS908SEM2SS is a free-standing gas oven range designed for home use. The igniter inside the range produces a spark that allows gas to produce heat. There is no pilot light, as the igniter serves the purpose that a pilot would in other models. If the igniter stops working, the oven range will not operate properly. Replace the defective igniter with a new part to restore your GE gas range to working condition.
