How to Replace the Drive Belts on Maytag Washing Machines

Maytag produces automatic washing machines in a wide range of models, each with a distinct set of features and available wash cycles. The drive belts on each model connect the transmission pulley and pump pulley to the drive motor pulley at the base of the machine. The pulley system powers the movement of the tub and agitator. If either of the belts becomes damaged, the washer will not function properly. Replace the faulty drive belts to restore your Maytag washer to proper working condition.
