How to Change a Coupler on a Sears Kenmore Washer

The coupler in a Sears Kenmore automatic washing machine connects the motor to the washer's gear case. If the coupler stops functioning, the washer tub may not spin or the agitator might cease to rotate. A defective or broken coupler can be removed and replaced with a new part. Install a new coupler to restore your Sears Kenmore washing machine to proper working condition.
