How to Install a Front Felt Strip on a Hotpoint Dryer

Hotpoint automatic dryers are manufactured by the General Electric company in both gas and electric models. Each front loading model is equipped with a front felt strip that helps keep the drum properly aligned. If the felt strip is damaged or defective, the drum will not rotate smoothly. One possible sign of a faulty front felt strip is a high-pitched noise when the drum is rotating. Install a new front felt strip to keep your Hotpoint dryer running smoothly.
