How to Replace the Defrost Heater in the GE PSC23NGMA WW

The GE PSC23NGMAWW is a side-by-side refrigerator freezer manufactured for residential use. The defrost heater inside the freezer section helps prevent frost from building up on the inside of the cabinet. If the defrost heater is defective, the freezer may build up frost, restricting airflow inside the cabinet. The freezer and refrigerator sections will not cool properly if airflow is restricted, so replace the faulty defrost heater with a new part.
