Like all modern top loading washing machines, the Kenmore has a boot seal. The boot seal is located at the top of the machine and made of plastic. It’s used to keep the water in the machine from leaking all over your floor as the machine cycles. If the boot seal is old and cracked, it won’t keep the water from leaking out. Replacing your old Kenmore boot with a new one is one of the simplest kinds of washing machine repairs.
