How to Disconnect the Oven Section From an Electric Kenmore Stove

Manufactured by Whirlpool, your Kenmore electric stove is really two separate appliances in one. The upper range and lower oven use the same control panel, but are powered by two different electrical systems. In the event of a malfunction, you can disconnect the oven section from the stove, allowing you to continue using the range until you can repair the oven.
