Instructions

    • 1

Move the U-Line ice maker away from the wall so that you may access the back of the unit. Turn the water shut-off valve on the bottom rear of the machine clockwise to shut off the flow of water to the appliance.

    • 2

Disconnect the ice maker's power cord from the power outlet.

    • 3

Take out the screws along the top and bottom of the ice making assembly at the top left of the inside of the U-Line ice maker. Use a 1/4-inch screwdriver to remove these screws.

    • 4

Pull the U-Line ice assembly partially out of the appliance, just far enough to reveal the wire harness that connects it to the rear of the ice maker. One piece of the wire harness extends out of the back of the ice maker and is joined to the harness piece that extends from the rear of the removable assembly via tabs. Push the tabs from each harness together to unclasp them and to release the ice assembly.

    • 5

Pull the assembly out of the U-Line ice maker and slide the new ice making assembly into the appliance.

    • 6

Follow your disassembly steps in reverse to connect the new assembly to the U-Line appliance.

    • 7

Turn the water supply back on and plug the appliance's power cord back in.
