How to Fix the Timer on a Maytag Atlantis Washer

Large Maytag appliances include refrigerators, stoves, clothes dryers and washers. The Atlantis washer is a traditional-style top-load machine that is no longer offered by Maytag at the time of publication. The timer on the Maytag top-loading machine selects the desired cycle and automatically turns the machine on and off as needed. The machine can also be turned on and off manually using the timer knob. Replacement timers are available to restore the operation of your washer.
