How to Fix Your Maytag Neptune's Balance Ring

Maytag automatic washing machines are manufactured in a wide range of models with varying available wash cycles and options. Each model is equipped with a balance ring attached to the washer tub. The balance ring keeps the tub rotating smoothly and prevents it from knocking or moving out of place. If the balance ring breaks or fails, it must be replaced with a new part to keep the Maytag Neptune washer working correctly.
