How to Replace the Oven Igniter in a GE XL44 TM Gas Range

The GE XL44 is a self-cleaning gas oven range with sealed burners. The heat inside the oven is produced with the natural gas supply connected to the range. The igniter creates a flame from the gas to produce heat. If the igniter is damaged or defective, the oven will not function. Replace the broken igniter with a new part to keep your GL XL44 gas range working properly.
