# How to Remove the Door on a Dacor CPS127
The CPS127 is a residential oven manufactured by Dacor Kitchen Appliances. Knowing how to remove the oven door comes in handy when transporting the appliance. With the door removed, it's much easier to get a firm grip on the oven so that you can move it into place. Dacor oven doors are held to the oven cabinet with metal retaining catches for hassle-free removal. Removing the door of a Dacor CPS127 oven requires no special tools or previous experience.

Open the oven door and lower it so that it's parallel to the floor.

Locate the retaining catches on the hinges of the oven door. Rotate the catches to the upright position to unlock the hinges.

Raise the oven door to a 30-degree angle. Pull the door toward you to remove it from the oven.
